Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the site move?

My site was in violation of yola's tos and they deleted it without warning and are refusing to allow me to reclaim the url no matter what I do so I moved the site here!

Well, when will the content be up?

As soon as possible

Where is the content?

I have to repost and reformat all the content. Chapters with proper links and properly formatted text doesn't just happen, unfortunately.

What about updates?

I'm going to get the site running again first. Join the mailing list for updates.

Q: When do you update?
A: I try to update Saturdays at 2pm pst. Life gets in the way sometimes but I'm getting better at it!

Q: You suck at keeping a schedule. How can I know when your next update is going to be?
A: I know and I'm sorry. If I'm going to be late, I'm pretty good about putting a reason why in the chatbox and an estimated time of when it's going to be up. So you can check there.

Also, I do have a mailing list.

Q: When are you going to update [insert story other than Mix'N'Match here]?
A: I find I update more frequently and get less confused when I'm working on a single story. After I finish Mix'N'Match, I'm going to move on to the others. THEY ARE NOT DISCONTINUED. Just on a temporary hiatus.

Q: Whatever happened to Rocky Road?
A: That is discontinued or at least on a very long hiatus. The Silver Dragon series is one I have been working on since I was a freshman in high school and it's very near and dear to my heart, but it isn't the story most interesting to me. I may bring it back, or at least I may bring Kat's side of the story back. Him and Sanura still haunt me. Wren's story may turn into a novella, of a similar length to Masquerade. Neither will be posted in part until the entire thing is finished so I won't repeat history.

Q: I have a question/criticism/compliment. Do you mind?
A:I love e-mails and comments. I try to make myself very reachable. :)

Q: I e-mailed you and never got a response.
A: Chances are high I didn't get it. I'm REALLY good about checking and responding to e-mails within a few days. It's possible you sent it to the wrong e-mail address. It's also very possible you got sorted into my spam folder. It doesn't happen much but it does happen. Check the address, and if it's right, mention it somewhere in the site and I'll check. Putting the reason for e-mailing me in the subject helps make sure I get it because I do occaisionally check my spam folder just in case.

About Password Protected Content

Q: Why do you password protect chapters?
A: Because they're pornographic.

Q: I'm almost 18 and I've seen a ton of porn! Can I have the log-in information?

A: No. I was looking at porn and reading naughty stories before I was legal too. It is however not legal to allow that. The system I have protects me legally. I know it probably won't be an issue, but why risk it? Plus, this way, no child's mind will be polluted on accident.

Q: Why have the password protected content at all?
A: You're right. The password protected chapters are not much different than the un-password-protected chapters. I am careful that nothing important gets cut out. The difference is smut. Smut I enjoy writing and some enjoy reading, but smut that is not important to the story. That is why the regular chapters sometimes get a little smutty- something vaguely important happens in that part.

Q: How do I get the log-in information?
A: E-mail me at succulentambush@yahoo.com and include whether you are over eighteen years of age.
